With financial support from our local Council and Chamber of Commerce, and working closely with West Suffolk College, we help our apprentices prepare for a full-time career with us.

iStudio Projects Ltd is a leading supplier and manufacturer of stage engineering and lifting equipment based in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk and are currently seeking an experienced Onsite Installations Engineer based locally to work on local and national projects.
The ideal candidate would have experience of working in the entertainment industry however this is not a pre requisite, and we will happily consider applications from individuals outside of the industry if you can show comparable experiences, desire and commitment
Duties will include permanent installations, inspection, repairs, servicing & maintenance of a wide range of stage engineering and lifting equipment.
We operate in an exciting industry, working in some of the most famous entertainment venues in the UK.
The ideal candidate would be physically fit, hold a current full, clean UK driving license.
MEWP licence and CSCS card is an advantage but not essential as training will be given to the successful candidate.
Alongside this we are also looking for excellent written and oral communication skills, candidates must be fluent in English if it is a second language, and have a commitment to providing a first class customer service. You will also be required to complete various administrative tasks with accurate record keeping.
Hours will be circa 8:00am to 5:00pm 5 days per week Monday to Friday (40 hour working week).
Due to the nature of the industry in which we operate flexibility in working hours will be essential as will the requirement to stay away overnight on occasions.
